Johnny Jackson, also known as Johnny J was arrested for DUI, committed suicide while incarcerated in the L.A. County Jail. Johnny J. leaves behind a wife and 2 children. Mr. Jackson is best known for his work with 2Pac, including the album “All Eyez on Me”. He also produced the album “Knockin’ Boots” by Candyman. Kimbo Slice, who is a force to be reckoned with, has finally lost a fight. Tonight he was scheduled to fight Ken Shamrock, but since Shamrock’s eye split open he could not fight. Stepping in on the under card was Petruzelli. Although each of the fighters did not have a chance to learn how one another fights, Petruzelli knocked Kimbo Slice out in 14 seconds, being the first man to defeat Kimbo. Now we know this has nothing to do with Hip-Hop, but I am sure some readers will enjoy this read.

Ok, so here we have a run down on the founding fathers of Gangster Rap, and they do not need a introduction. “N.W.A. The Worlds Most Dangerous Group” has aired Friday, October 3rd on VH1. If you have not seen it yet, check your T.V. guides for the next airing, but this video will bring you some insight on the group, while learning the beef and split up of N.W.A.

After Lil Wayne was arrested on three felony drug charges in Phoenix Arizona, the rapper has posted bail at $10,185. When set free, Wayne signed autographs in front of the Yuma, AZ bail bondsman’s office. Lil Wayne was caught with Weed, Coke and E, as well as .40 caliber pistol, but claims to have a concealed weapons license in Florida. He is due back in court on the 25th.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — City officials asked a judge to ban members of the Mob Piru street gang from being able to congregate in a neighborhood of Compton - and asked that the order include Marion “Suge” Knight.

The co-founder of Death Row Records was one of 200 people the officials said were members of Mob Piru. The injunction would ban them from congregating, carrying guns, drinking alcohol in public or staying out past 10 p.m.

Knight called the injunction a “publicity stunt.”

“This is crazy,” Knight told the Los Angeles Times in Thursday’s editions. “I’m a 42-year-old businessman, not a gang member. I don’t even live in Compton anymore.”

So is Suge Knight really going to be banned from Compton? We will see.

Snoop Dogg is set to release his 9th Solo Album in March of 2008 on Doggystyle/Geffen Records. The song Sensual Seduction by Snoop Dogg will be on the new album, where he will do both parts of singing and rapping.
